Actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case to CBI probe - Partha Pawar's tweet - Satya Mew Jayate
New Delhi, dt.  19 (PCB): Actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case has been investigated by the CBI.  The Supreme Court delivered its verdict today (August 19).  The Supreme Court has directed the Mumbai Police to extend full cooperation to the CBI.  Mumbai Police has also been directed to hand over all the collected evidence to the CBI.  The court also clarified that the Maharashtra government will have to abide by the verdict.
 Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's Chiranjeev and NCP youth leader Partha Pawar tweeted about the issue, giving a big shock to the alliance government and grandfather Sharad Pawar himself.  He has said that Satya Mev Jayate
 The apex court said that the Mumbai police had not investigated the case but only investigated it.  The Maharashtra government and the Mumbai police have been hit hard by the Supreme Court ruling.  Meanwhile, the Maharashtra government may challenge the Supreme Court's decision.

 Arguments and a hearing in the case were completed on August 11.  By August 13, all the parties had submitted their views in writing.  The Supreme Court then reserved its decision.  The apex court today directed that the probe be handed over to the CBI.

 Sushant Singh Rajput had committed suicide on June 14 at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai.  Sushant's girlfriend Riya Chakraborty had also filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking classification of the case against her in Patna, Bihar.

 Bihar Director General of Police Gupteswar Pandey has expressed happiness after handing over the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput case to CBI.  He has also raised questions on the Mumbai Police investigation and quarantine of the Patna SP.  Speaking to media, he said that the Supreme Court verdict has proved that Bihar Police has done nothing wrong.  This is a victory against injustice.  I believe Sushant will get justice.  We were accused of many things.  We were not allowed to investigate.  Patna police were doing everything legally.  Riya Chakraborty does not deserve to criticize Bihar Chief Minister.
