CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput case to Modi-Shah's favorite officials New Delhi, dt. 19 (PCB): The Supreme Court has decided to hand over the investigation of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case to the CBI. The Supreme Court has directed the Mumbai Police to hand over the evidence collected so far to the CBI. A CBI team comprising CBI Joint Director Manoj Shashidhar, DIG Gagandeep Gambhir, SP Nupur Prasad and DSP Anil Kumar Yadav will arrive in Maharashtra tomorrow. The Supreme Court today (August 19) handed over the probe into the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case to the CBI. After registering the FIR on August 6, the CBI has set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the case. Manoj Shashidhar, an IPS officer from the Gujarat cadre who is considered close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, will head the CBI team.
