New Air Travel Guidelines: Government allowed to serve food in flight; Names of passengers not wearing masks can be entered on the no-fly list
Between Corona, the government has allowed airlines to serve food in flight. However, passengers not wearing masks will be strictly dealt with. Aviation regulator, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has told the airlines that if they do not wear a passenger mask, they can decide on their own and put their name on the no-fly list. That is, his air travel can be banned for some time.
5 big things from the new guidelines
1. Packaged snacks, food and beverages can be given in domestic flights. Will be able to serve hot food in international flight.
2. Airlines will have to use single use trays, plates and cutlery in domestic and international flights.
3. Crew members will have to change gloves every time before giving food.
4. There will be entertainment for passengers on the flight, but they will have to provide disposable earphones or disinfected headphones.
5. If a passenger refuses to wear a mask, airlines can put his name on the no-fly list.
Domestic flights started on 25 May
The government was allowed to resume from May 25 after the domestic flights were closed for 2 months due to Corona, but was initially not allowed to serve food on the flight. At the same time, special international flights were being given pre-packaged food and snacks according to distance.
International flights have been closed since 23 March. Under the Vande Bharat Mission to bring Indians stranded abroad, only Air India aircraft are going to other countries. The government has also started flights under air bubble with some countries in the past.
