Inundation in the streets of Jaipur, people standing outside the house started flowing in the rain water
Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, was submerged due to heavy rains.  The condition became such that the streets of Jaipur were flooded.  People standing outside his house started flowing.  Amidst strong currents, people were seen saving each other.
In fact, Jaipur has been raining heavily since Friday morning.  Due to heavy rains, the roads of the capital have become ponds, vehicles parked on the road have drowned, while people are facing a lot of trouble in movement.
People trapped in continuous rain had to leave their vehicles on the roads.  The flow of water was so fast that even cars were seen flowing in it.
On the other hand, the continuous rainy season continues in Jaipur city.  175 mm of rain was recorded till 1 pm.  Earlier in 2012, there was heavy rainfall on 22 August, when Jaipur recorded 175 mm of rain.  Today the same situation is being seen again.
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many parts of the eastern part of the state including Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bhilwara during the next 24 hours.
Apart from this, warnings of lightning have also been issued in many cities of the state including Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Banra, Bharatpur, Sikar.
The administration has given orders to keep most of the offices closed as a precautionary measure.  A portion of the highway has been blocked due to falling rocks due to landslides on the Jaipur-Delhi highway.
