Pimpri, dt.  18 (PCB) - Four men beat up the son of a laborer who was demanding money from his father and seriously injured him.  The incident took place on Sunday (Dec. 16) at 10.30 pm at Patra Shed, Durganagar on Nigdi-Bhosari Road.

 The injured youth was identified as Tousif Mehboob Atanur (18, resident of Durganagar slum, Nigdi-Bhosari Road, Nigdi).  He has lodged a complaint at Nigdi police station.  A case has been registered against Anil Sarode (age 40), Mayur Anil Sarode (age 20, resident of Otaskim, Nigdi), Gaurav Anil Sarode (age 19), Shafiq Modin Sheikh (age 21, resident of Morevasti, Chikhli).  Is.  Police have arrested both accused Mayur and Shafiq.

 According to police, Mehboob Atanur, the father of the accused Tousif, was working for the accused.  He demanded money from the accused.  For this reason, the accused conspired and broke into the house of the plaintiff and attacked Tousif with a machete and sword.  Toussaint suffered serious injuries to his hands and feet.

 After the beating, the accused vandalized the cut TV and other equipment in Tousif's house.  Police have arrested both accused Mayur and Shafiq.  Nigdi police are investigating.
