 Raut criticized Kangana's statement in the Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana, writing that despite the actress living in Mumbai, criticizing the city's police force is treacherous and shameful.  He wrote, 'We humbly request that he not come to Mumbai.  This is nothing more than an insult to the Mumbai Police.  The Ministry of Home Affairs should take action on this.

 Meanwhile, BJP MLA Ram Kadam has said that the Mumbai Police is not keen on providing security to the 'Manikarnika' actress while she wants to expose the alleged mafia.  Maharashtra Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant warned the actress that she should get her background checked before seeking help from Kadam.
