Corona cases cross 41 lakhs in the country, more than one positive case occurred every second in the last 24 hours
Corona virus infection in India is not taking its name.  In the last 24 hours, more than one new positive case has been reported every second.  With this, the total corona cases in the country have crossed 41 lakh.  It is a matter of relief that in the last 24 hours, more than 70 thousand patients have either recovered or were discharged from the hospital.

 According to data released on Sunday by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, a record 90,633 new cases of corona were reported in the country in 24 hours.  A total of 1065 deaths were recorded.  With this, the total number of cases has increased to 41,13,812.
According to data released by the central government, there are a total of 8,62,320 active cases of corona in India.  Also, 31,80,866 patients have either recovered or have been discharged from the hospital.  So far 70,626 patients have died due to corona epidemic in India.
Let us tell you that with more than 4 million cases, India reached close to second place in the whole world yesterday.  The US ranks first and Brazil second in terms of infection.  In the US, which is considered a global superpower, the number of people infected with corona has crossed 61 lakh to 6149289 and till now 186786 people have lost their lives.  The number of infected had crossed 40.96 lakh on Saturday night and with this, India overtook Brazil to reach the second place.
Corona has active cases of 20.96 percent and recovery rate is 77.30 percent in the country.  So at the same time, the death rate from corona infection is 1.72 percent.  Patients recovering from the previous 77.25 percent, increased to 77.30 percent on Saturday.  The state most affected by the epidemic is Maharashtra.  The number of infected people increased to 8 lakh 83 thousand 862 on Saturday night after a record of 20 thousand 800 new cases reported during the last 24 hours.
