Pune, Dec 26 (PTI) The first human test of Oxford vaccine in the country was conducted at Bharati University Medical College today in the presence of media by giving a dose of 05 ml of Covishield vaccine to two volunteers.  Such information Dr.  Presented by Sanjay Lalvani.

 The dose was given only after the necessary medical examinations to see if the vaccine had any side effects.  Both volunteers will have to stay in the hospital for a few hours.  The second dose of the vaccine will be given after 28 days. The testing process for this vaccine started from Tuesday.  Three men and a woman were examined on Tuesday as part of the testing process.  The vaccine was developed by the Jenner Institute at Oxford University.
